Some facts • It is said that the Castle of Kaunas is haunted by ghosts. • In XVII centutury the Castle of Kaunas had a jail in it. • Supposedly that in the basement of the castle may have been tortured to death a lot of people. • In 1362 the castle was destroyed by Crusader Order. • A lot of defenders were killed.

Weird incidents • In castle people hear the echoes of the steps of soldiers, horse neigh, people moaning. • People had seen ghost silhouettes in the castle. • Strangephenomena: the camera man captured the vague silhouette , two tourists were looking at the picture and it suddenly fell down. • Without reason falling Shrovetide masks.
