Description Advanced Crochet Back Post-Double Crochet For many advanced stitches, you need to know how to create back post double crochet stitches. This stitch creates texture on the right side of your project, allowing you to craft more creative projects. This stitch creates texture by working into the row underneath, pulling the fabric up, and over the right side, which causes a bump to form. To create this stitch, you just need to know how to create a row, how to double stitch, and how to put the yarn over. Step 1: Create a standard row using whatever method you prefer to use. At the end of the row, turn. Step 2: Chain 2 for your first double stitch. Step 3&4Step 3: Put your yarn over. Insert your hook from back to front, in the row below the one you’re currently working on. Insert it between the post of the first and second double stitch. Then, insert your hook from front to back between the post of your second and third stitches. After doing this, your hook should be horizontal in front of the double stitch you’re working around.
