Dates • There are 52 weeks in one year. • There are 365 days in one year. • January, March, May, July, August, October, and December each have 31 days. All the rest have 30 except February which has 28.
Addition • When adding three or more single digit numbers, look for sums of ten to help you find your answer. • 8 + 2 + 6 = 16
Sequence • The numbers in a sequence follow a pattern. • 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 ,12, 14 :Rule +2
Time • There are 60 minutes in one hour. • There are 24 hours in one day.
Comparing • The equal sign is a comparison symbol. • There is a comparison symbol we can use for the words “is greater than” > and “is less than.” <
