  10. PICTURES OF EXPERIMENTS

  11. EVERY PROJECT MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 PICTURESOF THE ACTUAL STEPS EXPERIMENT OF THE PROCEDURE (NO PICTURES OF PEOPLE’S FACES) For the Science Fair Board, the procedure must be broken down under the different picts. EXAMPLES OF THE PROCEDURE SCECTION OF SCIENCE FAIR BOARDS

  12. SAMPLE PEER FEEDBACK

  13. SAMPLE GRADING FORMS

  14. GETTING READY FOR COUNTY & STATE INTERVIEWS MOCK SCIENCE FAIR INTERVIEW BE CONFIDENT, BE IN COMMAND, BE ASSERTIVE, HAVE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, BE ANIMATED- NOT SILLY, AND MAKE YOUR PRESENTATION INTERESTING 1. STUDENT NEEDS TO SHAKE HAND OF JUDGE AND INTRODUCE THEMSELVES AND THEIR PROJECT. 2. EXPLAIN THEIR SCIENCE FAIR PROBLEM AND WHERE THEY GOT THE IDEA? *TIE IT IN TO REAL LIFE APPLICATION* 3. EXPLAIN THEIR HYPOTHESIS (WHAT THEY THOUGHT WOULD HAPPEN) AND WHY THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD HAPPEN (USE THEIR KNOWLEDGE FROM THEIR RESEARCH THAT MADE THEM COME UP WITH HYPOTHESIS) SAY THE WORD RESEARCH WHEN EXPLAINING

  15. 4. OVERVIEW OF PROCEDURE (NOT IN DETAIL ON BASIC STEPS) 5. OVERVIEW OF RESULTS STATE IF THEIR HYPOTHESIS SUPPORTED OR REJECTED INTERESTING RESULTS *TIE IT IN TO REAL LIFE APPLICATION* 6. EXPLAIN SOURCES OF EXPERIMENTAL ERRORS OR WHAT DIFFICULTIES, IF ANY, DID THEY ENCOUNTER DURING THEIR EXPERIMENT? (SHOULDN’T SAY THINGS LIKE READ THE THERMOMETER WRONG) TRY TO LIMIT OR MINIMIZE ERRORS- DON’T OVER EMPHASIZE WHAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG 7. FUTUREEXPERIMENTS - EXPLAIN HOW THEY WOULD EXPAND UPON THEIR IDEA - MAYBE ISOLATING A DIFFERENT VARIABLE. DO NOT SAY MORE TRIALS
