  8. Conference Organizer (CO) • NT service – independent of MetaFrame XP • Installs on any Windows 2000 or 2003 server • Maintains meeting information • Location, meeting state (started, ending), etc • Communicates with client and CR

Conference Room (CR) • Installs as a hidden application in farm • Client embeds CR in UI via ActiveX • Multi-user shadowed session • All shared documents displayed- i.e., everyone sees everything. • Flexible MF Server install target options • Multi-purpose MetaFrame Servers • Dedicated to hosting meetings – Only CRM • A combination of shared and dedicated

  19. Technical Considerations • Same as Shadowing • 25 users total users per conference is a soft maximum • 5 meetings of 4, different than 1 meeting of 20 • # of Meetings dependent on # of Servers • No cross farm collaboration
