Believe in Jesus: Trust, Serve, and Obey for Salvation

Believing in Jesus means placing your trust and confidence in Him, serving Him faithfully, and obeying His teachings for salvation and eternal life. By continuing in His word, we become His disciples, knowing the truth that sets us free. When we believe in His name, we respect His authority and are born again through water and the Spirit. Obedience to Jesus is crucial for our salvation, as faith without works is dead. Follow God fully by believing in Jesus and obeying His commands to receive the gift of eternal life.

  1. Believe Verb:to be persuaded, therefore to place one’s confidence and trust, signifies reliance upon and not mere credence Because we believe, we put our confidence and trust in Jesus, unquestionably relying on Him!

  2. Believe Jesus is the Son of Man Jn. 8:24, 28believe, Son of Man Dan. 7:13-14dominion, eternal kingdom, all people serve Him Because we believe, we serve Jesus!

  3. Believe: Continue in Jesus’ Word Jn. 8:31-32believe, continue in word 2 Th. 1:8; 2 Th. 2:10-12 obey gospel, love truth, believe truth Because we believe, we continue in Jesus’ word!Result: disciple, know truth, set free.

  4. Believe in His Name Jn. 3:16, 18believe in Jesus / name Jn. 1:12-13 receive as authority, born again Because we believe, we respect Jesus’ authority!Result: born again – water and Spirit.

  5. Believe: Obey Jesus Heb. 5:9Jesus, salvation, obey Jn. 3:14-16 bronze serpent, obedience Jn. 3:36 believe, saved / not obey, lost Jn. 6:29 believe, work of God Jude 1:5; Num. 14:24 follow God fully Because we believe, we obey,follow God fully!
