  3. Discussion forum • Can the Discussion Forum encourage communication and solve problems? • Access policy: Personal accounts are necessary for the Members’ area. Are they necessary for the Discussion Forum? • What should the role of the FAIRMODE members/experts be regarding the Discussion Forum?

A FAQ? • A FAQ could be a starting point for a user/modeller towards the appropriate information source. • Should probably include questions for each regulation purpose mentioned/implied in the AQD. SGs can contribute with questions! • A link could be established between the FAQ and a searchable html version of the Guidance Document. • A link could be established between a FAQ and the MDS.

FAQ section (2) • Questions on model selection and use • Are there appropriate models for specific pollutants? • What are the current regulatory models in the EU? • Does the EU recommend the use of specific models? • How do I know if a model is validated? • What is the difference between receptor and dispersion models? • What kind of input information do receptor/dispersion models require? • Are some models used more frequently than others? Why? • How can I select the appropriate model for my purpose/area? • What model results are required in EU country reports/air quality plans?

  7. Issues for discussion… • Members’ area: does it help? How can we use it more efficiently? • Registration of contributors to WGs and SGs. How can we improve the process?
