Over a five-year period (2003/04 – 2007/08), we have surveyed: 304 CPSS schools 197,897 Students 19,180 Teachers and professional staff 47,434 Parents 1,263 Board members
Brief Overview - CPSS Surveys • ~60 Public Secondary Schools per year • Survey questions developed from the CPSS Standards and reviewed each year • Administered Online or Paper • Dedicated Database Server for data collection • Students, Professional Staff, Parents, Board • Data analysis, Final Report, Aggregate Report • Cost - $1,000 (online) – $1,400 (paper)
CPSS Surveys • Student Survey – 55 questions • Parent Survey – 54 questions • Professional Staff – 70 questions • (Teachers, Administration, Non-teaching Professionals) • Board – 24 questions • Questions on Paper and Online are identical • Some questions worded so that gaps may be revealed
