Things to do Limousin is full of many old churches and other buildings. It also has a very pretty country side. You could visit St Etienne. St etienne is a cathedral completed in 1890. The cathedral is beautiful and even holds the tombs of some admirable bishops. Next to the cathedral in the Jardins de l'Evêch is the old archbishops' palace that is now the Musée Municipal. The elegant 18th-century building has an outstanding collection of Limoges enamels from the 12th century, as well as some enamel paintings by Leonard limousin, who was born in 1505 in Limoges and went on to win world acclaim and the favor of four monarchs.
