4. Our Journey Begins A 40 y.o. female patient arrives in your emergency department after falling at home. She was self transferring OOB to her wheel chair by pivoting when the fall occurred. She c/o pain & swelling right shoulder & knee. • PMHX-MS (numbness right UE & LE, blurred vision, bowel & bladder dysfunction, lack of coordination • Social history: unemployed • Husband & family perform stand pivot transfer as needed OOB, to commode and shower chair. Patient occasionally ambulates with rolling walker.

5. Questions-the audience will be responsible to apply their current knowledge and or their newly obtained knowledge from the conference to take the patient safely from Admission to Discharge.~identify risk~select the appropriate SPH equipment~reduce risk ~mitigate the potential risk factors
