Chapter 1 • Henry Morgan is the captain of the pirates of the Caribbean • Is talented and rich • Has a house in Jamaica • Antonio Medina • Arrogant and intelligent • From Sevilla, Spain • Captain of a Spanish boat • Raquel • Attractive and romantic • From Veracruz • Antonio’s girlfriend • A rumor exists of a secret map that has a secret island on it • Island has a magic liquid and precious minerals • Henry and Antonio both want the map

Chapter 2 • Felipe is one of Antonio’s pilots • Reserved and serious • Carlos is one of Antonio’s pilots • Talks a lot, is sociable, and a little fat • Antonio comes up with a plan so that he doesn’t have to go with the fleet to La Habana • Rumor is the map is in Puerto del Príncipe • Going to pretend there is a problem with the boat and separate from the fleet • At the market: • Raquel wants shoes • Felipe wants a telescope • Antonio wants a pistol • Antonio buys a special pistol • It doesn’t work so he throws it to the ground, it falls into 2 pieces and the secret map is inside that says “Agua de Vida” • Chapter ends with chaos in Puerto del Príncipe

Chapter 3 • The pirates invade Puerto del Príncipe to get information on the map • They capture Carlos, who tells them Antonio has it and he is at the restaurant • Felipe runs and tells Antonio Carlos has been captured • Antonio says the need to escape and to meet North of the plaza • He sends Felipe with a note to tell Raquel that he has the map, the pirates are after him, and to meet him north of the plaza to escape • Felipe comes back and says Raquel didn’t want to go • Antonio is furious, says he doesn’t care about Raquel, and yells for them to go to the coast and the boat • Raquel hears this and says she is sad she is not leaving with Antonio

  5. Chapter 4 • Henry Morgan meets Raquel • He thinks she is attractive and likes her hair, eyes, and mouth • Raquel finds out Henry is looking for Antonio because he has the map • She doesn’t tell him she is Antonio’s girlfriend • She doesn’t like Henry, but wants to use Henry and his boat to find Antonio and find out why he abandoned her • She asks Henry to go with him • He says there’s a pirate code that says women aren’t allowed on the boat • Henry comes up with a plan: he dresses her up like a boy pirate and they come up with her new name “Santiago”

  6. Chapter 5 • The pirates attack Antonio’s boat • Henry’s plan is to distract them with the cannons and then rob their silver • Antonio’s men do not prepare the cannons because they are scared, but Antonio is not scared

  7. Chapter 6 • The pirates board Antonio’s boat • Antonio and Henry fight with swords • Antonio commits an error by mentioning the map • Antonio traps Henry and puts his sword to his throat

  8. Chapter 7 • Antonio is only happy for 30 seconds because Raquel puts a gun to his head • Henry turns it around and puts his sword to Antonio’s neck • Raquel tries to grab Antonio’s pistol, but he reacts violently, then Raquel reacted and hits Antonio on the head with the pistol • Antonio is unconcious • Henry is frustrated with her because now Antonio can’t talk about the map • In frustration he grabs Antonio’s pistol, throws it to the ground, it parts and reveals the map • Henry is happy, and they head to the secret island with the map and the silver

  9. Chapter 8 • Antonio discovers that the pirates stole his silver and map and is furious and acts like a crazy person • Felipe suggests they navigate to the island by memory • Their plan is to trap the pirates and steal the silver • They head to the island

  10. Chapter 9 • The pirates arrive at the island but take canoes to the coast because there are rocks • They can’t see the entrance to the cave because there is a lot of vegetation so they have to cut the vegetation with swords and machetes • The Spanish arrive at the island to trap the pirates • Henry plans to use Raquel as a distraction • He wants her to reveal she is a woman and create a distance between the Spaniards and the entrance to the cave so the pirates can sneak out one by one

  11. Chapter 10 • Felipe reveals that Antonio has 2 girlfriends and that is why he didn’t give Raquel the note • Antonio and Raquel start fighting over Raquel • There are 2 earthquakes that trap the pirates in the cave • Raquel is sad to think about Henry trapped in the cave • The pirates think the Spaniards stole the silver from the cave so they attack them, but they didn’t really take the silver.

  12. Chapter 11 • Antonio realizes the pirates are controlling the situation so he tries to use Raquel to escape by putting his sword to her neck • Felipe hits him on the head with a gun and Antonio is unconscious • Felipe becomes a pirate • Henry and Raquel drink the water of life and it affects the way they see things and their attitudes • Henry wants to be an honest pirate • Raquel decides to go to Jamaica with Henry • Henry throws the map and Felipe gets it • The two kiss and head to Jamaica
