The poor shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the LORD. May your hearts live forever! All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD; and all the families of the nations shall worship before him. For dominion belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations.

  8. Lord, you know who we are. You know everything we have done or have not done. We thirst for things that will never quench us. We commit ourselves to things that will never last. We worship things that will never bring hope and salvation. Still, you offer us the gift of living water. You offer us the gift of eternal life.
