  2. Gardening is the wayof growing and cultivating plants as part of horticulture. In gardens, ornamental plants are often grown for their flowers, foliage, or totalappearance; useful plants, such as root vegetables, leaf vegetables, fruits, and herbs, are grown for consumption, for use as dyes, or for medicinal or cosmetic usage. Gardening is considered to be a relaxing activity for many people. 7

  5. Herbs Herbsare any plants used for flavoring, food, medicine, or perfume. Herbs have a variety of uses including culinary, medicinal, and in some cases spiritual usage. General usage of the term "herb" differs between culinary herbs and medicinal herbs. In medicinal or spiritual use any of the parts of the plant might be considered "herbs", including leaves, roots, flowers, seeds,rootbark,berries and so on..
