Sonja Lenore Haaby, an IRS enrolled agent and licensed tax consultant in Oregon had held numerous progressively responsible positions in different companies before she established her own by the name - Haaby & Associates, LLC in 2018. She started her career in 1998 with US Bank in Bend as a Branch Manager. In 2008, she started working with a local CPA firm. Later, she worked with companies like Kerkoch Katter & Nelson LLP and Excellence in Taxes as a Staff Accountant and Tax Preparer respectively. For a brief period of time, she was associated with Watson Development where she served as a Staff Accountant. From Dec 2013 to Jun 2016, She worked with Alliance Professionals, LLP as an accountant. Later, she held the senior tax accountant position at Capstone CPA's from Jun 2016 to Nov 2018.

Sonja Lenore Haaby Has Held Numerous Progressively Responsible Positions throughout Her Career Sonja Lenore Haaby, an IRS enrolled agent and licensed tax consultant in Oregon had held numerous progressively responsible positions in different companies before she established her own by the name - Haaby & Associates, LLC in 2018. She started her career in 1998 with US Bank in Bend as a Branch Manager. During her six years of service, she maintained and ensured that branch operations were in compliance with regulations, policies and procedures; handled human resource management; & audited and reconciled various areas of operations, such as cashier’s checks, general ledger accounts, money orders, traveler’s checks and proof of teller work.

  2. After a short time being a stay at home mom, Sonja Lenore Haaby decided to follow her passion in accounting and pursue her public accounting career. In 2008, she started working with a local CPA firm where she assisted personal and business clients with their financial tax planning needs. Later, she worked with companies like Kerkoch Katter & Nelson LLP and Excellence in Taxes as a Staff Accountant and Tax Preparer respectively. For a brief period of time, she was associated with Watson Development where served as a Staff Accountant. From December 2013 to June 2016, Sonja Lenore Haaby worked with Alliance Professionals, LLP as an accountant, and was responsible for completing personal, business and estate returns in an accurate and time efficient manner in addition to handling various other responsibilities. Later, she held the senior tax accountant position at Capstone CPA’s from June 2016 to November 2018. Here, she prepared S Corp., Partnership, Estate, Non-Profit, and Individual returns in addition to completing returns.

  3. Talking about Sonja’s academic background, she graduated from Linfield College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and a Certificate in Human Resource Management. Besides that, she holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Central Oregon Community College.
