Board Member Elections • Association General Memberships – Open to all OMEHEP/CAMP funded programs and staff. • Programs pay $1,200 dues per program • Staff on HEP/CAMP Association list serve. Based on recommendation by Program Director. • General membership has one vote per program • Elections held during OME – HEP/CAMP Directors Meeting in DC. • OME HEP/CAMP Directors Meeting – February 2009 • Secretary – even years • Parlamentarian – even years • Treasurer – odd years • President Elect – at end of Presidents term • HEP Stream Reps on even years • CAMP Stream Reps on odd years
Membership dues contributes to • $14,000 in Scholarships • $11.000 in SAF Internships • $12,000 for two D.C. Internships • National HEP/CAMP Conference support • Provided recommendation for changes on Higher Education Act (HEA) • Served on Department of Education Rule & Negotiation Discretionary committee
