  2. Introduction We all know Rosa Parks as one of the women who fought for freedom and her incredible bus story but I am here to talk about why she is significant today and also her background as well as her story! I hope you enjoy !

  3. Her story/background! She was born on the 4th of February 1913 and sadly passed on the 24th of October 2005.She was an African American civil Right activist not only that but she was a Rolemodel to girls and women. one of her quotes were “you must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right”

  4. The Bus Story December the 1st Rosa Parks was getting on the bus and she sat near to the front yet she was allowed too unless a white person came and asked her to move. A white person came and asked for her to give her seat up but Rosa refused and so the bus driver called the police and she was arrested.

  5. Why is Rosa significant? Rosa is significant because she made people understand that whatever you know is right you have to stick up for yourself and people know her today as “the first lady of civil rights”
