Food gives us the energy and nutrition we need to live and grow. But sometimes we eat the wrong foods, and that can make us feel tired, sick, or unhappy. Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury introduced a special diet called the DIP Diet (Disciplined and Intelligent Person’s Diet). It helps people eat well and feel healthier. Due to this, the DIP diet is also called Dr. BRC’s diet. This diet plan of Dr. Biswaroop teaches us to eat natural, unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, and nuts. These foods give us the energy we need without harming our bodies. The diet chart is easy to follow, and it helps people feel strong and happy. DIP diet involves 2 plates: plate 1 is of seasonal fruits & salad and plate 2 is of standard meal.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO FOLLOWING THE DIP DIET Step 4 - Eat 3 to 5 Types of Raw Vegetables Step 1 - Start Your Day with Fruits The amount of vegetables you eat should be 5 times your body weight in grams. If you weigh 50 kg, you should eat 250 grams of vegetables before your main meal. Eating raw vegetables gives your body important nutrients like vitamins and minerals. The first rule of Dr. BRC’s diet plan is to eat only fruits in the morning. Fruits are full of vitamins, fiber, and water, which give us energy and help our bodies stay clean. Try to eat different kinds of seasonal fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, mangoes, and watermelons. Step 5 - Have a Light Lunch Step 2 - Eat 3 to 5 Different Kinds of Fruits. After eating raw vegetables, it’s time for your main meal. In the Dr. Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury’s diet, your lunch should be a vegetarian meal. A simple meal with rice, dal (lentils), and vegetables is perfect. Keep your lunch light. Avoid oily or fried foods. Make sure your lunch has no added salt or very little oil. This helps keep your heart and body healthy. The amount of fruit you eat should be 10 times your body weight in grams. For example, if your weight is 50 kg, you should eat 500 grams of fruit.
