  3. Three-time Grammy nominated American composer Miguel del Aguila was born 1957 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

  4. IN THE 1970’S DEL AGUILA FLED URUGUAY’S REPRESSIVE MILITARY GOVERNMENT IN 1978 DEL AGUILA MOVED TO CALIFORNIA GRADUATED FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC

CONGA LINE IN HELL Composed in 1994 from a dream stemming from Dante’s poem Divine Comedy, (an endless line of dead people dancing through the fires of Hell) A SECTION: Begins quietly with tinkling bells to conga beat and grows to full orchestra. B SECTION: Melody begins with slow bluesy conga beat , which builds in volume and tempo. A’ SECTION: Melody is repeated and grows to full orchestra and loud dramatic ending.
