  7. INSTRUCTIVE SYLLOGISM • Without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Heb. 11:6) • Enoch pleased God (Heb. 11:5) • Therefore, Enoch walked with God by faith • This is why the men of old had witness of God’s approval – they walked with God by faith (Heb. 11:2).

  12. FAITH IS ABOUT GOD • Heb. 11:1 “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things unseen.” • Heb. 11:6 “…must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that seek after Him.”
