  8. ChronologicalResume • Most common resume type • Educational and employment history organized by date • Works well for students who have progressive and related experiences within their field • Emphasizes work history • Easy for employers to scan

  9. FunctionalResume • Focus on skills and experience rather than chronological work history • Demonstrates how you ideally match the requirements of a jobs • Can be confusing for employers to follow • Good for people with gaps in work history or those looking to transition into new career
