Assessment Support Packs • Will be produced for all aforementioned units • Secure site via SQA coordinator • Subject page will advise on availability

Tour Guiding: An Introduction • Looking at types of tour guides • Producing an itinerary for short guided tour (1 day coach tour in Scotland) • Conducting short guided tour (5 minutes)
Resort Representation: An Introduction • Roles and types of resort reps • How airport duties and transfers should be conducted • Present a welcome meeting (5 minutes)
Working as Air Cabin Crew • At SCQF level 5 • Knowledge areas about aviation industry, terminology etc • Communication with passengers – service announcements • Service of meals • At SCQF level 6 • Safety and service procedures • Duty free and tax paid goods service • Trolley merchandising
Airport Ground Operations • At SCQF level 5 • Airline/airport terminology • Personal presentation • Dealing with passenger needs • At SCQF level 6 • Airport check-in procedures • Meeting and boarding flights • Procedures for lost and mishandled baggage
Employability Skills • New mandatory unit • Further applied in study visit unit at level 6 • Reinforced through other practical units e.g. cabin crew/airport ground ops/guiding • New Personal Development course (no course assessment)
