Stand in the Recruiter’s Shoes! What skills do you have to bring to the role? What type of person are you? Why should I choose you for interview? How will your qualifications/ studies help in the job? How are your achievements relevant to the job? What have you learnt from work experience and how has this prepared you for the job?
Preparation • Have any certificates to hand. This will help you accurately record them in your education section. • CV Builder or Free Typed – Think about how you want to present your CV. Remember if you are going to type your own CV, layout is critical. Keep it uncluttered and easy to read. • Consider what you want to say before you make a start. Have a copy of the job description/person specification to hand to check employer requirements. More on following slide……..
