My Animation Jack Parnell
British Occupied New York City September 21st 1776
Overview • Target Audience: 6 – 13 year olds. • Theme: Emergency Services. • Added a cartoon-y historically accurate aspect, to appeal to children.
Overview • Overview of the city from the air. • Camera moves to a street full of people walking. • “You wouldn’t steal a money bag.” – Narrator. • Thief steals a money bag from a passing person. • Camera moves to some buildings with British Redcoats marching past. • “You wouldn’t set a building on fire.” – Narrator. • Thief leans out and drops a match. Lighting the building on fire. • Camera changes to a green hill with a Beacon on top. • “You wouldn’t leave a man injured.” – Narrator. • Thief enters, trips, and clutches leg. • Camera changes to a map of 1776 New York City. • Policeman, Fireman, Medic all stand in front of map. • “Call the emergency services today.” – Narrator.
Characters • The images to the right is the basic idea for my British Redcoat outfit. • The same outfit will be used for the Police, Medic and Fire fighter uniforms. • The Thief’s costume is relatively similar to this. • The Thief’s costume I still need to design.
