About ESTAL • Approximately1000 affiliated members, majority of our members working in Estonian post, service and telecommunication companies. • ESTAL is a member of Estonian Trade Union Confederation (EAKL) and UNI.
Databases • e-Business Register - Centre of Registers and Information Systems This central database gives the answer – we have approximately 114 companies, interior or agency providing hairdressing services. • The Estonian Qualifications Authority (trademark - Kutsekoda)- The system is developed and administered by the Estonian Qualifications Authority.Occupational qualification standard (OQS) is a document which describes occupational activities and provides the competency requirements for occupational qualifications and their levels. Its database of over 1,000 professional certificate is issued, inter alia, hairdressers, beauticians and nail technicians specialty. • However, by the standard of our vocational system is still being developed and scaled continuously.
Professional acquisition opportunities • Hairdressing profession is possible by studying 12 different schools. In addition you can also learn about professional training in cycles of various institutions. School professional learning can be gained 1.5 years.
