Activity • You will be creating a poster encouraging people to immigrate to Hawaii to work on the sugar plantations. • Write your name on the back of the poster. • Have a slogan, have a pitch for the people to come. • Have a picture. • Your audience will be poor, uneducated people, mainly men. • Make it neat and colorful. • You will have about 30 minutes to do this.
