  3. Christ Rules • God rules through Christ…Ps 110:1-7; Ps 2:7-9 • Christ rules today…Dan 7:13-14; Acts 2; Col 1 • Christ punishes rebellious nations…Mt 24:Rev • Righteousness is the only escape…Pr 14:34

  4. Our Nation • If we serve God, we will prosper…Jos 21:43-45 • If we reject God, we will decline…Jud 2:7-10 • Consider Babylon • Nebuchadnezzar sinned against God…Da 4:26; Isa 14 • God punished Nebuchadnezzar…Da 4:28-33 • Nebuchadnezzar repented, God restored him…Da 4:34

Conclusion • God rules through Jesus Christ • Our nation must accept Christ’s rule to survive • If we want our nation to survive, then we must live righteously, spread righteousness, and turn the peoples’ hearts back to God • When we do our part, righteousness will spread like wildfire, and God will exalt our nation
