A Palestinian State? Notice: Before the Six Day War, the Gaza Strip was under Egyptian rule, and Judea & Samaria (the West Bank) were under Jordanian Rule. The Palestinians never had an autonomy in these areas (or in any other area, for that matter). They didn’t start an uprising against Egypt or Jordan. In fact, it is the map which appears on the official emblem of all PLO factions. That map shows the borders of the intended "State of Palestine ", revealing the PLO's intentions to replace the entire State of Israel, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem, and not only the administered areas of Judea, Samaria and Gaza.

Every decent, honest person should ask WHY? Why are these people celebrating the death of so many innocent people? How can they be so happy just because American citizens die? Where does this hatred come from ?
This hatred was raised and nurtured for many years by poisonous incitement in the Palestinian education and media. Arafat’s incitement against America should not come as a surprise. It is nothing new. During the Gulf War, in 1991, Yasser Arafat was Saddam Hussein's biggest supporter.. In the West Bank and Gaza thousands of Palestinians marched in anti-U.S. rallies and called on Hussein to destroy the U.S. Arafat’s legitimacy was hurt due to his support of Saddam Hussein. He learned his lesson… After September 11th,, when he saw his people dancing in the streets and knew how terrible it would look in the press of the free world, he stated that he was “shocked” by what happened in the U.S. The Palestinian Authority threatened AP and Reuters journalists and warned them not to broadcast these images, saying they could not be held responsible for the journalists’ life and safety if they were to do so. . .

PA Summer Camps… Palestinian children step on American and Israeli flags during military training camps. The appearance of Palestinian children in these riots is not accidental. The Palestinian Authority has intentionally mobilized Palestinian children to man the front line in its struggle against Israel, frequently using them as shields to protect Palestinian gunmen. This mobilization of Palestinian youth has, moreover, been facilitated by the long-term impact of Palestinian Authority (PA) curricula, government-controlled media, and summer camp programs, which indoctrinated the youth for armed confrontation with Israel even prior to the current crisis.
The Palestinian Authority’s schoolbooks Peace with Israel is not presented as a goal or discussed as an opinion in the texts. The peace process is not even referred to in the schoolbooks. The Oslo accords are mentioned once, but they are not defined as a peace process, rather, as a point in time connected to the PLO’s return to “Palestine.” The books do not define the problem in terms of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the territories administered by Israel since 1967 and perceived by the international community to be the essence of the Palestinian problem. Israel’s peace with Egypt Israel’s peace with Jordan Is Israel willing to give land for peace?
Israel is willing to give a lot for a real sincere peace. Just look at the land that Israel willingly gave up for peace with Egypt, including settlements and many resources (Sinai - marked in brown). Israel made many sacrifices for peace with both Egypt and Jordan. If Arafat will be a Palestinian Sadat or King Hussein, he’ll find a willingness for deep concessions from Israel.
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the Middle East with civil rights for all its citizens, Jews and Arabs. Israel is the only country in the Middle East with a free press. Israel is the only country in the Middle East where women have equal rights. Israel is the only country in the Middle East where being a homosexual is not considered a crime, and gays have equal rights. Israelwants nothing more than PEACE, and is willing to give a lot for a real,lasting PEACE.
Israel is the only country in the world which protects itself against suicide bombers seeking its very destruction. The Basques in Spain or the IRA in Ireland don’t use suicide bombers, nor do they declare that they seek to destroy Spain or England. Israel is not a colonialist country. It didn’t go to look for new land, far away in Africa or the Far East, like European countries did, to conquer. Israel is protecting itself, the only Jewish state. Israel is not fighting for distant strategic interests, like the U.S. in Iraq, or for territory, like the Russians in Chechnya. Israel is fighting to secure the life of its citizens and its existenceagainst an enemy bent on its destruction.
These are the people who want the destruction of Israel. They are dangerous, not only to Israel, but to the entire free world.
If the Israelis were able totrustPalestinianintentions, they would be willing to evacuate the territories and focus on developing their country within agreed boundaries, on the basis of the Green Line. This is not happening, to a large extent, because of the Palestinian behavior. Arafat and his people are threatening Israel's very existence (their demand for exercising the right of return) and with their actions, they are illustrating the inherent aggression of their approach and the inability to rely on their promises. Under these circumstances, the Israeli public's stormy mood at the sight of the spilled blood in Jerusalem should come as no surprise to anyone.
