  6. Power to Overcome Sin • Assumption of humanity is God’s ultimate revelation of His love toward a sinful race. • We can overcome sin through Jesus’ power A. Why is it necessary for Christ to become human to be our Savior? John 3:16

  7. Power to Overcome Sin B. What are some of the biblical evidences for Christ humanity? • Jesus called Himself man (John 8:40) • Called by others: Peter (Acts 2:22); Paul (I Cor. 15:21)
