  1. This presentation will probably involve audience discussion, which will create action items. Use PowerPoint to keep track of these action items during your presentation • In Slide Show, click on the right mouse button • Select “Meeting Minder” • Select the “Action Items” tab • Type in action items as they come up • Click OK to dismiss this box • This will automatically create an Action Item slide at the end of your presentation with your points entered.   4. User Interface Implementation • Originally going to do a web interface (so any browser could access it) • Chose to use Java Swing to implement interface instead • More interesting • Easier to use SOAP and other programming techniques • Every user has to download this app

  5. File Transfer Parameters • We were going to give users more power in deciding what files are downloaded • When to download • What not to download • Priority (Michael Jackson first) • Download all files from a given Personal Server Not enough time to do this

  12. Bluetooth Issues • At one point we could connect two Personal Servers via PC… not any more • More than two Personal Servers at a time

  13. Demo • Goal: two Personal Servers discover one another, query for files, and transfer desired files (not going to happen) • Minimum: Personal Server and PC “discover”, query, and transfer • Better: two Personal Servers connected via a PC discover, query, and transfer
