  2. What is Bridging Visa ? • Bridging visa works as temporary visa which allows a non citizen of Australia, whose one passport is going to end and the substantive one is under process. It work like bridge between the two and it will start when your current visa got ceased.

Eligibility Criteria for Bridging Visa Bridging visa is good opportunity for non citizen of Australia but there are certain eligibility criteria one needs to follow before applying for this visa : 1-Person who has applied for Bridging visa should be in Australia. 2-Person has already applied for other substantive visa. 3-Your current visa has expired 4-Person should have character certificate.

Types of Bridging Visa • Bridging Visa A:-Person can apply for this visa when his current visa is valid and he has already applied for substantive one then he can stay in Australia till his substantive visa processed, but there are certain condition which need to be noted before applying for this. • Bridging Visa B (BVB) subclass 020 This Visa is same like Visa B the only thing which differentiate both of them is B allows a person to travel outside a Australia but there is time period associated with it means person needs to return before time period expires and the reason of travel should be valid and important. The person also needs to present valid document to prove the reason. The person who has visa A can also apply for visa B.

To Be continued:- • Bridging Visa C (BVC) subclass 030 This visa is granted when your current visa is expired and you doesn’t apply for new visa or we can say you are unlawfully in Australia then this visa comes as saviour but there are certain requirement which one need to follow after applying for this visa • Bridging Visa D (BVC) subclass 040 This visa is granted in a very rare situtation and this visa is valid for only 5 days
