  4. Aboutus • Who: WorkinggroupFumigated Containers, part of the Health and Safety Network of FNV • What: Providing information, adviceand support to employees who have questionsabout, or need help withfumigated containers • How: Instruments, workshops, websites and hotline

  5. EWHN Programma & Bezoek • Welcome to the 15th EWHN conference in Copenhagen. • We can inform you, that you can participate in the following events: • Company visit: 4. Port, Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP • Workshop: How do you know if you work with something dangerous? • The two union houses, which we use for the conference, both have firm security rules. This means, that they are closed outside normal office hours, when we are not there. It also means, that we ask you to wear your conference ID visible on your person throughout the conference so that our security guards can identify you. • Thewifi codes for the houses are: • Metal workers union: username metal, code metal 1 • PROSA : username ProsaGuest, code Statistick • On Thursday 20th September we will stay in the house of the Metal workers union, Nyropsgade 25. You are welcome in the lounge. Coffee and tea is free of charge. • On Friday 21st September we gather in the lounge downstairs in the Metal workers Union, Nyropsgade 25 at 8.45 to start the company visit. We presume that you have had your breakfast at your hotel before this gathering. You will have lunch during the company visit. • At 15.00 we serve coffee in the Metal workers union. • The info-meetings takes place in PROSA at VesterFarimagsgade 37 A from 15.30 to 17.45 (just round the corner from the Metal Workers house). • The formal dinner at 19.30 takes place in the Metal workers house. • On Saturday 22nd September at 9.00 the workshops takes place in PROSA. Resultaten van ons bezoek!! • De netwerk leden van EWHN heeft al onze GIC materiaal meegenomen naar hun eigen land om het daar onder hun leden en bestuurders onder de aandacht te brengen. • Er is ons ook verzocht om andere informatie te delen • Tijdens ons bezoek aan de havens van Denemarken is Gassen in Containers ook uitgebreid onder de aandacht gebracht waarop besloten is om door de eigen medewerkers niet de containers uit te vegen of schoon te laten maken. Dit was al een discussie binnen het bedrijf maar nu door ons informatie een besluit geworden. • Tijdens ons info meeting waren er 14 aanwezig diverse vanuit de havens & ziekenhuizen, ook hier waren er verrassende gezichten te zien aangezien men onwetend is van gassen in containers en de potentiele gevaren.

  8. Vervolg Resultaten van ons bezoek • Er zijn contacten gelegd met Verenigde Koninkrijk (UK), Denemarken, Frankrijk, België en zo nog een aantal landen die aanwezig waren. • Indien gewenst is van de workshops en infomeetings informatie te verkrijgen.
