  5. Twine • If you’re more into writing than programming. Twine is great for creating online interactive fiction without code.

  6. Construct 2 • If you’re not comfortable with text scripting but still want to make functional prototypes as a designer. ( visual scripting ) • Free for non-commercial use • 2D only.

  7. Unity • Full on 3D toolkit that is Cross platform for release on mobile • Gone Home and “Fragments of me” was made in Unity

  8. Unreal Development Kit (UDK) • For building levels
