Sewing Calculations… Before Wash Measurements = After Wash Measurements + Shrinkage Production per day = (Shift time (min) X # of machines / SMV) # of machines required = (Required Quantity X SMV / Shift Time) DHU = (Total # of defects / Total # of units inspected) X 100 Efficiency = (# of units produced / Target units) X 100 Time Wastage = (Shift Time (min) X Efficiency %) / 100

  5. Sewing Calculations… Production Run = (Order Quantity X SMV) / (Shift Time in minutes X # of machines) Yield = (# of units produced / Target units ) X 100
