  5. Most politically based songs criticized the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and the disputes and violence that still today ravages the Irish and English border.

  6. Specifically about “Nothing Compares 2U” : • written by Prince and originally recorded and released by a side project of his, The Family • Music Video was very popular and well received. • It was simply her face while singing the song.

  25. Released on August 27, 1991, Pearl Jam's debut album Ten (named for Mookie Blaylock's jersey number) contains 11 tracks. • Album was about dark subjects- like depression, suicide, loneliness, and murder.
