  3. Details The following series of slides provides a screen-by-screen view of the whole process.

  4. Logging into the Application From MySite you will select the Performance Evaluation System from the menu. • Enter your MySite User Name and Password

  5. Change Your User Type • Click on “CHANGE USER TYPE” Depending upon what other responsibilities or roles you have your will need to select the appropriate User Type. • Choose • “Evaluating Supervisor” • Click • “CHANGE GROUP”.

  6. Start the Evaluation • On the left navigation area select “START EVALUATION” • Now click on the “Start Action” link under the “New Administrator/ Manager Performance Evaluation” or “Classified Confidential Performance Evaluation” evaluation type.

  7. Pick the employee to evaluate • A list of employees that are associated to you are displayed. Select the one you want by clicking on the associated “Start Action” link. XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX

  8. Evaluation Details (first screen) • Pick the Evaluation Period, start and end dates. Everything else should already be correct. • Click on the “Continue to Next Page” button.

  9. Decision Time • If your ARE having your employee fill out a ‘self-evaluation’ then all you need to do is click the Preview Evaluation button and then select “Send to Employee for Self Evaluation”. • If you are NOT having your employee fill out a ‘self-evaluation’ then proceed to the next slide.

  10. Current Goals • For each of the existing current goals click on the ADD NEW ENTRY button.

  11. Add New Entry for Current Goals • The Goal ID and Goal will be filled in if there was a previous evaluation with Future Goals enteredotherwise, fill in. • Goal ID (e.g. 1,2,3,etc.) • Goal (description) • Completion%/Comment. • Your Comments • And a rating. • Click the ADD ENTRY • Repeat for each goal.

  12. Standard Evaluation Competencies • Here is where most of the work is done. For each of the items, 1-10, give both a rating and a comment.

  13. Future Goals • For each of the Future Goals click on the ADD NEW ENTRY button.

  14. Attach Documents • You can attach up to three (3) supporting documents.

  15. Overall Rating Comments • Enter your Overall Ratings for Competencies and Goals. • If there were any ratings of 3 then enter a narrative in the Exceptional Contributions field. • If there were any ratings of 1 then enter work plans for improvements in the Area for Improvement field. • Enter any other comments you may have.

  16. Route to the next step • Select what you would like to do next • Save without submitting will save it so you can comeback later and edit it. • Send to Employee for Review will lock all fields from being editable and should only be done after you have had the Review with the employee..
