Introducing Office of Trade Competition Commission The Responsibilities The office of the trade Competition Commission is located in the Department of Internal Trade-DIT, Ministry of Commerce. The Director-General of the DIT is the Secretary-General, who shall be the superior official responsible for the administrative affairs of the office including submit the cases that may violate the Act to the Trade Competition Commission-TCC for consideration. The Organization Structure Trade Competition Commission The Appellate Committee Specialized Sub-Committee Inquiry Sub-Committee Office of the trade Competition Commission (Department of Internal Trade) Secretariat Section (Business Competition Bureau) Legal Section (Legal Division) Monitoring & Operation Section (Monitoring & Operation Bureau) - Monitor and oversee the conduct of business operator. - Collective evidence. • - Study analyze and develop Trade • Competition Act • Undertaking legislation act. • Provide opinion relating to Trade • Competition Act. • Carry out the TCC, Appellate Committee, • & Sub Committee's administrative work • as appointed. • Receive complaint concerning business • practices that may violate of the TCA. • Investigate and examine the case that • may violate the TCA. • Study, analyze, and monitor behavior • of business practice.
