Human Resources - Education There are 3 universities in Nitra Region Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (6 faculties, 8264 students), Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (5 faculties, 8994 students), J. Sely University in Komárno (3 faculties, 1569 students). Presented data – school year 2015/2016
Sphere of Authority ofNitra Self-Governing Region Schools within the sphere of authority of NSGR (school year 2015/2016): 26 Grammar Schools (7 621 students) 59 Secondary Vocational Schools (19 036 students) Schoolsfounded by the NSGR: 16 Grammar Schools (5 544 students) 51 Secondary Vocational Schools (16 862 students) NSGR is a founder of 3 theatres, 5 museums, 2 galleries, 5 libraries, 25 social service facilities. The Nitra Region, Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) and the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCHCI) have signed the Memoranda of Cooperation. Nitra Self-Governing Region has concluded 12 cooperation agreements with its partner regions so far. From among 12 regions, we have had the most effective cooperation with the regions of Champagne–Ardenne (France), Vysočina Region (Czech Republic), Komárom-Esztergom(Hungary) and Vratsa Region (Bulgaria).
