Phase 1 “Yeah, I read about a lot of people in my history class. You know, like the people who made the country great and stuff like that. I’ve forgotten who most of them are, but it’s just as well.”
Phase 4 “Times were different, sure…times were a lot tougher than today….My teachers taught us about people with fortitude, people who knew what had to be done and they did it, and others benefited from it…They set a good example of what to do. It didn’t matter if I knew ‘em or if they were dead.”
