  14. ePortfolios for Researchers • ePortfolios are collections of personal information that represent accomplishments, goals, experiences, and other personalised records that a you can present to others in an online format. • Typical uses of ePortfolios go beyond the traditional concept of a transcript to include applying for jobs, designing personalised learning, and tracking career planning. • Maintain a framework for discussion, feedback, and assessment on progress and create an environment for individuals to manage their own learning and personal development.

  15. ePortfolios for Researchers • Build a social network with peers and advisors throughout the institution and beyond the institution • Collaborate on research and work with peers at partner institutions • Good place to keep track of your Personal Development Plan, and Training Needs Analysis and share with your PI or whoever you wish.
