  1. Top Two Applications For Using A DVD Or USB With All The Windows Hardware Device Drivers Whether you are just a petty user who likes playing around with Windows or a computer technician who is always on the search for latest tips and tricks, you are bound to have felt the requirement of an operating system re-installation. Even when Windows performs brilliantly and without any problem, the real nightmare might start when Windows fails to have any generic device driver for a few of its hardware components. In such a case, you will be required to identify the model and brand of hardware and even look for drivers through another computer when driver CD’s aren’t handy. It can take exceptionally long when you are using a slow internet connection. The whole deal gets even tougher when you try to download the same. In such a scenario, it is advisable to seek the help of a program which can automate the Windows drivers installation process without seeking the help of internet. Today we have collated two solutions which can make the Windows device driver installation significantly easier when you proceed from a local source. DriverPack Solution This popular Russian program can automatically install drivers for both 32-bit and 64-bit in Windows Vista, XP, 8 and 7 thus

  2. simplifying the whole system driver updating process as well as help other computers which require new driver installation. The DriverPacks set comprises of condensed drivers which have been packed using 7-Zip and consist of thousands of drivers pertaining to every piece of hardware. You can either opt for the DVD or Lite version of DriverPack Solution wherein the former comes as a 4GB+ pre-built ISO image containing all the driverpacks which can be downloaded through BitTorrent while the latter is around just 10MB and asks you to select the packs from the program which can then be downloaded through Bittorrent. The Lite version is comparatively quicker given its usage of official DriverPacks torrents having more seeds and thus leading to faster downloads. An automatic scan is conducted by the program in search of drivers which need to be installed or have a provision for updating. DriverPack Solution window features a diagnostic option providing basic information pertaining to your computer, hard drive low space warning, a CPU temperature monitor, disk defrag and memory test. DriverForge (XP only)

  3. This program aids in automatic installation of drivers from an earmarked location into your Windows XP. It functions through extraction from DriverPack archives which is subsequently installed from the comfort of a graphical interface. However, it is not compatible with Windows 7 or Vista. You can do the same by following the steps mentioned below: First you need to download DriverForge and place it in a folder. Next you will have to go to the DriverPacks page and download the packs of your preference. Now you will have to copy the downloaded .7z pack into the same folder where you had previously placed the DriverForge program. The entire DriverForge folder can be burnt to a CD or copied to a USB flash drive. The DriverForge tool should be activated when you wish to install drivers on the system. You will have to click on “Restart when completed” since Windows usually requires a restart once it is done installing drivers. You should click on “Delete uncompressed drivers when completed” option if you wish to save some hard disk space. The folder where DriverPack and DriverForge files are located can be browsed from the “Path to Compressed Driver Files Location” box. Finally, you will have to click on the Start button after which the drivers are extracted automatically for installation.
