  1. Matthew 12:38-45 “An Evil and Adulterous Generation”

  2. 4:23-24 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them. Large crowds followed Him…

  3. 8:1-4 3 Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

  4. 8:13 And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.

  5. 8:14-16 When Jesus came into Peter's home, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and waited on Him. When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.

  6. 8:28-34 33 The herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs. 34 And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they implored Him to leave their region.

  7. 9:1-8 And they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, "Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.“ And some of the scribes said to themselves, "This fellow blasphemes.“ And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, "Why are you thinking evil in your hearts?

  8. "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" --then He said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your bed and go home.“ And he got up and went home. But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

  9. 9:18-26 But Jesus turning and seeing her said, "Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well." At once the woman was made well. When Jesus came into the official's house…But when the crowd had been sent out, He entered and took her by the hand, and the girl got up. This news spread throughout all that land…

  10. 9:27-31 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!”...Then He touched their eyes, saying, "It shall be done to you according to your faith.“ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: "See that no one knows about this!“ But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land.

  11. 9:32-34 As they were going out, a mute, demon-possessed man was brought to Him. After the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.“ But the Pharisees were saying, "He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons."

  12. 9:35 Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

  13. 12:9-14 Departing from there, He went into their synagogue. And a man was there whose hand was withered…Then He *said to the man, "Stretch out your hand!" He stretched it out, and it was restored to normal, like the other. But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.

  14. 12:22-24 Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw. All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, "This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?“ But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons."

  15. Matthew 12:38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.“ Matt 16:1-4 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.

  16. Mark 8:11-12 The Pharisees came out and began to argue with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, to test Him. Sighing deeply in His spirit, He said, "Why does this generation seek for a sign? Truly I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation."
