Victorian roll top baths were mostly made without anywhere to put bath toys, soaps and sponges. The round lines of the bath continued all round the bath’s edge and thus there was no flat space.
Some were eventually made with an accessory which fitted around the taps and provided small soap dishes, most had nothing, hence the market for a bath rack.
Made with sides which rested on the bath, they contained baskets and space for bathing bits. You could position them to suit along the bath while you were relaxing in the water.
Our bath rack is a beautifully made item with extendable side rests, so will fit all bath sizes. All wires are hand bent and soldered and balls and rods hand turned.
There are three baskets, two soap size and one sponge size, so room for all bath toys and rubber ducks! We can supply your choice of finish, polished nickel, polished chrome or unlacquered brass.
This is a best quality item, made in England to the highest quality standards, to last a lifetime. Bespoke bath racks can be made, please call us to discuss your requirements on 01746 712450.
