  2. No one wants to see someone they care about sad; devastated; heartbroken. But the loss of a pet can bring on all these emotions. So, what can you do? How can you help? Understanding that your significant other, mother, father, sister, brother, or friend needs love and support will go a long way.

  3. Many people feel as though they need to downplay the grief they feel over losing a beloved pet. Let them know that isn’t necessary. The cat, dog, bird, horse, whatever animal it was, played an important role in their life.
