It is September and that means it is fashion season. Specifically fashion show season. Show seasons are the times of year when people pay attention to what other editors and style stars are carrying.
What brand of designer handbags they are carrying and how they actually carry and wear the bags. It is a never ending display of style, personal taste and most of all fashion. It’s a delight to witness.
From over the top wacky to restrained and chic it is such a fashionable showcase. It is sometimes better than the shows themselves.
Fashion editors at all of the top glossies are always in the know. They know what to carry and what brands are hot before many of us. That’s why I adore my editor friends. They always let me in on new brands they love and designers they have met.
Some even hold the key to fashions future and the direction it will go. Fashion in many ways is an instinct. Several of my dear friends have a wonderful instinct for what will be popular even a year from now. They forecast trends better than most psychics and know what fashions crystal ball has in store.
Many of the best photos from fashion week are actually taken outside show venues. Celebrities, street style stars, stylists, makeup artists, editors, etc. they are all outside every show.
Many editors have become more and more famous because of being snapped during the shows and out and about during fashion week. Social media has fueled their rise to fame. Many of them have become style stars in their own right.
Almost anyone can name the top editors at American VOGUE. That was unheard of just a few years ago before Twitter and Instagram. Now their faces and glossy manes are splashed across different social media platforms, especially Instagram. The fashion world has fallen in love with Instagram.
On Instagram during the September fashion season I noticed many editors carrying designer handbags from PLIA Designs. This brand makes a range of beautiful designer bags, leather goods, purses, and satchels.
Their craftsmanship is absolutely amazing. A leather craftsman makes each PLIA Designs handbag one by one. A variety of their Reid satchels is very popular among editors.
I noticed it in both the small size and original, larger size. Another popular PLIA bag is their Milton clutch. I love PLIA Designs handbags and it is great seeing so many editors carrying these amazing designer bags.
