Biokemoffer turbine oil varnish forming contaminant detection and removal, a solution to your turbine varnish that is recommended by Siemens.
Oil varnish potential testing is completed by Membrane Patch Colorimetry (MPC) and can be completed on-site or off-site by oil sample supply. Test results determine the oils potential to deposit varnish.
Varnish causing contaminant removal is completed using Electrophysical Separation ProcessTM (ESP) to absorb dissolved and suspended oil degradation products – the cause of varnish.
Eliminating varnish requires that you continually remove these deposits that are in both physical states (dissolved and suspended).
This makes ESP technology a more effective varnish mitigation tool compared to competitive technologies, which results in lower varnish potential numbers in a shorter period of time.
A matter of days will typically restore a heavily varnished turbine oil.
Each varnish mitigation solution is individually tailored to best match the turbine model, fluid chemistry, operational mode, lubricant condition and type and rate of fluid degradation.
ESP Systems are used successfully throughout the world to remove oil degradation products from turbine oil and to prevent trips and other problems associated with deposits.
Contact Biokem today to organise your first MPC varnish potential test to begin solving your turbine varnish situation. challenge
