They have upped the ante of the sequencer and transport modules to compete with the big leagues; they also raised their own standard once again with Thor, turning out a semimodular synthesizer that is arguably worth most of the price of Reason 4 by itself. And all of this has come to us without much additional CPU-draining baggage or a raised price tag. Yes, there are a few blips and desires on my radar, but with all these new goodies, I can't complain; I only applaud a job well done.”

  10. Cons • Although Reason 4 may seem user friendly for past clients, the interfaces can be overwhelming and confusing for new users • $ 399.00 !!! Need I say more. • Editing can be very time consuming and tedious.

  11. Pros • The upgrade is only $129.00 • Various Features • Rewire Reason 4 to work with almost any audio program: Pro Tools, Cubase, AbletonLive, Logic, ect.
