Haunted Hayride October 24 – 26, 2014 Oh-Da-Ko-Ta – Sleepy Hollow (Staff City) Campsite Events: Thursday, October 23rd - Camp & Haunting Set-up 5:30pm – meet at Gifford East Parking Lot-WEATHER PERMITTING Friday, October 24th – 5:00pm – meet at Gifford East Parking Lot Hot dog, chips and Kool-aid upon arrival 7:00pm – 9:00pm: Haunted Hayride. Saturday, October 25th – Daytime - PunkinChuckin’ and Troop activities with Pack 129 Webelos Scouts Pasta and Meatball dinner at the dining hall 7:00pm – 9:00pm: Haunted Hayride Sunday, October 26th – Eat breakfast, break camp, travel home to arrive at Gifford at approximately noon. ***The Webelos Scouts of Pack 129 will be our guests for the weekend.*** We need haunting items such as coffins, strobe lights, sabers, fog machines, skeletons, anything that lights up, scary costumes, spotlights, lawn decorations, flashlights and walkie-talkies. We could use another generator also. We will be making haunting plans at the October troop and PLC meetings. What you CAN’T bring: guns or knives that are real , explosives, fireworks, anything to throw at the wagons, chainsaws with chains. Lasers are okay but no shinning them at people. Cost: $20/Scout, $10/adult There will be concessions for sale at the dining hall in the evening. We will be able to drive to Sleepy Hollow before 6:45pm. All vehicles parked in camp must be tucked out of site. All other vehicles will be parked in the Administration Parking lot. No vehicles on camp roads after 6:45pm. Additional Notes: • No one leaves camp Sunday morning until the camp site is clean and completely picked up. • We need help setting up Thursday night. Please consider helping set up on Thursday or volunteering your decorations even if you can not attend the event. • If you are unsure, please shoot me an email by 10/21 to let me know if you are attending or not. • Clearly mark everything you are borrowing for Halloween decorations.
