  1. The Use Of Disinfectant/Sanitization Tunnels On People

  2. The ongoing pandemic has been a nightmare for most of us. In the initial months, most places that used to be hustling and bustling with people were temporarily shut down. Entire cities came to a standstill. However, as reasonable as a complete lockdown sounds, it is not practical. There are always going to be reasons for people to get out of their homes. All that can be done is ensure the safety of the people and take certain measures. The commonly exercised preventive measures are checking the temperature of the people visiting the premises and offering hand sanitizers to avoid the spread of the virus. Most venues and establishments regularly hire disinfection and sanitization services to get rid of the possibility of the spread of the viruses. The one other thing that seemed to become common is disinfectant/sanitization tunnels. Here are a couple of reasons why the use of disinfectant/sanitization tunnels on people is a bad idea and we should instead resort to hiring professional disinfectant services to clean the surfaces.

  3. They are a risk to health and safety • Disinfectants are known as chemicals that can be harmful if they come in contact with human skin or are inhaled. And in these tunnels, we are legit spraying humans with disinfectants and sanitizers. Inhaling these chemicals could do more damage to your health than good, and you will end up with a different disease altogether. • They lack efficiency • For any surface to be disinfected effectively, it has to be hard and non-porous. Our skin and clothes happen to be neither, which is why this tunnel practice likely does not achieve any desired result when it comes to reducing the transference of the virus. • It does not reduce transmission • The virus is most likely present in the respiratory tract and saliva. Sanitizing and disinfecting the skin is most probably futile. • The disinfectant/sanitization tunnels don’t guarantee results and can prove harmful to the participants. We would suggest not installing them. You can instead contact disinfection and sanitization services to ensure that premises are safe and healthy.
