PIECEXPORT May, 2002 Short introduction Actually „PIECEXPORT” Ltd. is carrying on the wide range of works connected with renovation of Coke Battery No. 7 at Cokery „Zdzieszowice” – Poland. This is the 76 chambers battery with convergent walls (50 mm), with upper coal’s charge and with bottom supply of heating gas. PARAMETERS: * Type of battery: double-block (2 x 38) * Bottom heating: coke-oven gas * Means of charging: upper * Chambers quantity: 76 * Chamber height (cold): 5500 mm * Chamber width (cold): 435 / 385 mm * Useful chamber length: 15040 mm

PIECEXPORT May, 2002 Short introduction Lining of the Coke Battery No. 7 has started in November, 2001. The lining of the battery roof is being made now (end of May, 2002). According to repair schedule the lining roof will be finished in July, 2002. „PIECEXPORT” Ltd. scope of works comprises of: * demolishing and preparatory works; * supply and segregation of refractories; * lining and assembling of heating installations; * building of coke tipping jetty; * building of frontal platform.
