LECTURES/ INTERACTIVE SESSIONS • INTERACTIVE cum BRAIN STORMING SESSION ON GST In collaboration with the All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (AIFTP), organized a Brain Storming Session on Goods & Service Tax and its new form, which is in the process of making by the New Government of India on Friday, 13th June 2014 at M/S Continental Carbon India Ltd. Mr. PrashantRaizada, Partner BDO India, was invited to interact as an expert, with the participants.
INTERACTIVE SESSION ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CAREER SELECTION • An interactive session on Entrepreneurship and Career selection for MBA and • PGDBM students with Mr. S M Mittal, Managing Director Sukriti Vidyut Udyog Ltd. • Ghaziabad was organized at RKGIT on Saturday, 23rd August 2014.
INTERACTIVE SESSION ON “SUCCESS BEGINS AT THE END OF OUR COMFORT ZONE” • A lecture cum interactive session for students with Dr. Dipak Kumar Sharma, a Motivational speaker, Consultant & Director, S.S. Associates, on 20th September 2014 at IMS, Lal Quan, Ghaziabad. The students were from IMS, HRIT and two more management institutes of Ghaziabad.
LECTURES/ INTERACTIVE SESSIONS Contd…. • A lecture cum Interactive session on “WASTE OR RESOURCE – MANAGEMENT OF WASTE FOR MUTUAL BENEFIT” Organized at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College on 11th October 2014. The speakers were: Dr. Nripendra Singh, a Fulbright Fellow & founder of Snehi Foundation; Dr. N P Singh, Addl Secretary & Advisor, Min of Non Conventional Energy Resources, Government of India; and Mr. Ashish Jain, Director, Indian Pollution Control Association, New Delhi, Inventor of technology for the safe disposal of Aerosol Bottle and has patent for the Wall Mounted Baler.
Lecture cum Interactive Session on UNDERSTANDING HUMAN INNATE • POTENTIAL - a Scientific Approach, • This was organized on 19th December 2014 in Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology auditorium. The facilitator was Dr. Surendra Nischal, retired as Associate Professor after 37 years of active academic and social life. He is a renowned Psychotherapist, Counselor, Trainer and Research Mentor.
An interactive session on 11th March 2015 on Eco-Friendly Industrial • Operations with Dr. S Loren, PhD. • Dr. Cole made a presentation on how to improve the human condition” by providing “ethical and sustainable ecosystem management services” and stressed that we should conduct an energy audit while planning our requirements to assess and evaluate all aspects of energy to be used in buildings and overall facility operations
A lecture cum interactive session on CYBER SECURITY • Organized in association with ITS, Mohan Nagar at their campus on 4TH April 2015. The facilitator was Prof. Kapil Mohan Garg, presently, a faculty member at ITS - Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, in the area of Information Technology Management made our members aware of various risks involved in working and transacting on-line.
Interactive session on How to be successful in life and in occupation based on • lessons on KARMYOG from SHRIMAD BAGWAT- GITA. • Organized at INMANTEC Seminar Hall, on 11th APRIL 2015. The interaction was with Dr. Laxmikant Tripathi, Palmist, Ayurvedacharya, Author, Journalist. He is an expert in the field of mind-body healing.
Enhancing productivity through Industrial and Indoor Ventilation, Air Cooling and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Organized a lecture cum interactive session at HOTEL FORTUNE INN GRAZIA, GHAZIABAD on Monday, 25th May 2015 with Mr. ShishirBansal, HVAC Consultant, on maintaining proper indoor environment in industry. He is an HVAC turnkey projects executer for BHEL, NHPC,NTPC , Jaiprakash Associates and many Semi-Govt and private industrial houses in electro-mechanical and electronic industries, etc.

TWO DAY’s DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM on “PRACTICES IN OFFICE MANAGEMENT” • with ABES EC, Deptt. of Business Admn. on 17th & 18th October, 2014.
ORGANIZED A ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON PRODUCT CERTIFICATION • WITH BBDIT on 18th February, 2015 at the Institute’s Seminar Hall. The facilitators • were from the MSME DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE, OKHLA, NEW DELHI. This was to • make the MSME s aware of the rules, procedure and benefits of Product Certification.
A National Seminar with ITS, Mohan Nagar on “CONCURRENCES & OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FINANCIAL SECTOR” was organized on Saturday, 6th & 7th February, 2015 at ITS campus.
ORGANIZED LEAN MANUFACTURING AWARENESS WORKSHOP • with BBDIT on Wednesday, 25th February, 2015 at their campus. The facilitators • were from National Productivity Council, New Delhi.
MDP ON FINANCE FOR NON FINANCE MANAGERS • This was organised in association with NMA and IMS, LAL QUAN on 18th April, 2015 at their campus. 35 participants from Industries attended the workshop.
ONE DAY PROGRAM ON LEADERSHIP FOR IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY FOR • MIDDLE LEVEL MANAGERS/ TEAM LEADERS was organized on 8th May 2015 at • World Square Hotel, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad. In this there were 22 participants • from eight industries.
ONE DAY PROGRAM ON MANAGING CONFLICTS AT WORKPLACE was organized at • world Square Hotel on 17th June 2015. There were 16 participants in this workshop • from 9 organizations.
COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES • BUSINESS GAME – CHANAKYA conducted by Games Division, AIMA on 28th & 29th January 2015. This was conducted on Training cum Competitive mode for young Managers of our Corporate & Institutional members. We had participation from 9 organizations.
A TWO-DAY MANAGEMENT FEST ‘TESJAS 2015’ ON MARCH 17 & 18, 2015 IN • THE COLLEGE CAMPUS. • This was organized by Ghaziabad Management Association and Department of Business Administration, ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad. In the technical events, the activities included Summer Training Project Competition, - presentations on 8 entries; Business Plan Making Competition, - presentations from 9 students presented their plans; Other technical competitive items were Ad-Mad Competition; Documentary Making Competition; & War of words – Debate.
OTHER ACTIVITIES • 31st ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING on 30th July 2014 at Hotel Fortune Inn Grazia, Sanjay Nagar. Main highlight was increase in annual membership fee.
SEEDHI BAAT – WITH SH. KALRAJ MISHRA, HON’BLE MIN. FOR MSME, GOVT. OF • INDIA • The GMA invited Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Minister MSME, Govt. of India on 4th November 2014 for an interactive session – SEEDHI BAAT with Central Government at the D C Garg Auditorium, Hindi Bhawan, Ghaziabad. The other participating organizations were All Industrial Associations and Industrial Federations of Ghaziabad.
FAMILY GET TOGETHER OF GMA & LAUNCH OF GMA NEWS LETTER • Annual Family Get-Together was organized on November 23, 2014 at Hotel Mela Plaza, Raj Nagar, to bring maximum number of members and their families together to know each other. During this function, the special activity was launching of the GMA News Letter and the maiden issue was released by Shri Telu Ram Kanboj, Mayor of Ghaziabad.
OTHER ACTIVITIES Contd….. • GMA CRICKET TOURNAMENT AS AN INDUSTRY – INSTIUTUTES RENDEZVOUS GMA organized a cricket tournament on 28th, 29th & 30th November on the ABES Cricket ground. The purpose of this tournament was to integrate institute and industry interface within objective of realizing the GMA vision.
GMA joined hands with the INDIAN CANCER WINNERS ASSOCIATION (I CAN WIN) • in their RALLY on CANCER AWARENES organized on SUNDAY, 15TH FEBRUARY 2015.
“PRESS SE CHARCHA” • GMA organized a Press conference on 28th February . The President GMA and other office bearers shared their views on the budget. This was conducted at Hotel Mela Plaza, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad.
PRESS CONFERENCE • GMA organized a press conference on 13th June on the compliances and requirements of the Companies Act 2013. The President GMA and other industrialists and office bearers of GMA shared the difficulties in this matter. They have given some suggestions for consideration of the Govt. This was appropriately covered by the Press.
